Client testimonial
… exceeded my expectations … I will be in touch in the future, for your sound advice … I really am quite delighted with the outcome. - Michelle Clark, Director of Brighton Dancecenter

Have you ever found a great website and wished you could tell the search engines and other web users how much you loved it? Or do you have a particular passion that you'd like to talk about on the web - not on a regular basis, but in one big burst? Maybe you want to promote items that you are selling on another site such as eBay or Amazon.
A site exists which lets you do all of these things with one web page. Squidoo was set up in 2005 by best-selling author and entrepeneur Seth Godin, and allows anyone to set up a web page on a topic they are passionate about, absolutely free. These pages, known as lenses, can link to other websites, blogs, videos, eBay auctions, in fact anywhere else on the web. Squidoo's emphasis is on recommendation rather than content, although a lens with very poor or very little content is unlikely to get many visitors.
Squidoo lets a person really have their say on a subject that is close to their heart, whether it is a product, service, organisation, hobby, sport, TV programme, way of life, in fact whatever you like (with a few exceptions - offensive subjects are strongly discouraged, and if a lens is considered to be spam it will be disallowed). A lens is not a blog, so you don't have to update it on a regular basis, but you can use it as a platform to promote your business, yourself, or anything else.
Anyone can set up a Squidoo lens on a subject they care about
You can even make money for yourself or your favourite charity through your Squidoo lens. As well as selling your own items through the lens, you can point to other items for sale on Amazon, eBay, and similar sites. Squidoo also run Google ads on lenses (related to the lens subject). Every time someone clicks on an ad on your lens, or buys a product through a site they came to via your lens, you get 50% of the royalties. You can opt to keep this profit or have it go directly to one of a wide range of charities. Squidoo also give 5% of their profits to charity every month.
BE Technical have built lenses on behalf of clients, showcasing their products and services and helping them to reach a wider audience on the net - and donating money to cancer research charities in the process. Take a look at BE Technical's own Squidoo lens.
